In Memory Our Longtime Executive Director, Nancy C. Kelly

Over the course of her 32-year career as the executive director of The Jockey Club Safety Net Foundation, Nancy organized countless fund-raising events ranging from golf tournaments and ladies' luncheons to formal gala dinners. She helped thousands of individuals in need, totaling nearly $16 million in assistance.

The Safety Net Foundation's mission was near and dear to her heart. She immersed herself in every case, and was a nurturing and calming force for many who sought out the Foundation. For Nancy, it was personal. She grew the Foundation into what it is today.

On behalf of the Trustees, our past and current recipients, and the entire racing industry, we thank and remember Nancy for her lifetime of service. The world was brighter with her in it.
